1. Read Chapter 14 “A Double Blessing”. What are some thoughts you had on this chapter?
2. Look at the story of the Queen of Sheba (1 Kings 1:1-10). What impressed her about King Solomon’s household? What do you notice?
3. Read Prov. 21:5. What evidence do you see in 1 Kings that Solomon lived according to this wisdom?
4. Read Ex. 35:25,26, and 29. What do these verse suggest about how important creative beauty is to God?
5. From this chapter and assignment, what is God’s message to your heart… and home?

Her planning, and dedication to quality is really good. She never seems to lose sight of the big picture.
2. Look at the story of the Queen of Sheba (1 Kings 1:1-10). What impressed her about King Solomon’s household? What do you notice?
everything! His wisdom, clothes, food, bulidings, servants, everything. She recognizes the Lord God for having done and given all this.
3. Read Prov. 21:5. What evidence do you see in 1 Kings that Solomon lived according to this wisdom?
the fact that he had all that abundance is evidence that he planned diligently. It really is true that abundance doesn’t come without planning.
4. Read Ex. 35:25,26, and 29. What do these verse suggest about how important creative beauty is to God?
God worked in people’s hearts while they were builiding the tabernacle for some people to donate their skills in craftmanship. God had a very beautiful building in mind.
5. From this chapter and assignment, what is God’s message to your heart… and home?
That it is good to be creative. One thing that I think helps me be creative is when I know I don’t have a lot of money to spend on something, so I will try to come up with some creative way to do it. I must say, I am glad God created creativity and wants us to be creative! It mades life more fun, and gets our brains going in a different sort of way
