Week Ten
1. Read chapter 10, “An Eager Attitude”. Was there something that stood out to you? Encouraged you? Convicted you?
2. What are some ways that you can grow more virtuous in your attitude towards your work (whether in the home, school, a job) in the following areas?

- Motivation
- Discipline
3. What are some activities that you do – or should do – on a daily basis? How will you fit them into your day: tomorrow/on a regular basis?
4. What do the following Proverbs teach you about your work? How do they motivate you to work harder?

5. Think of some task that might be one of your least favorite to do. How will you apply what you’ve learned in this chapter to that particular task?

1. Read Chapter Nine “A Field of Dreams”. What is something you found encouraging or thought-provoking from the chapter?
2. Is there a specific area of your life that came to mind in which to apply this chapter?

Week Eight
I apologize for not paying the attention that is needed to this blog these past couple of weeks. I have been pretty sick since late in March and am now beginning to get back on my feet and tackle all that needs to be done. So, Lord willing, we will be back on schedule with the study this coming week.
1. Read Chapter 8, “A Pattern for the Household”. What is something that really jumped out at from the chapter? Something that either encouraged or convicted you?
2. Do you have a daily time in the Word? When have you found to be the best time to have your devotional time? What have you been reading lately and what has God been teaching you through it?
3. What does Prov. 21:5 say about the benefits of planning? What are some ways that you can improve your planning?
4. How can you plan to do each of the following?
- Tend the fire at home
- Tend the fire of your heart
- Tend the fire of others hearts
5. What do the following verses list as benefits of early rising? Gen. 19:27, Mark 1:35, Prov. 20:13, Prov. 16:3 What would an ideal yet reasonable early hour be for your life?
